Professional biography
During my career, which spans education, business, philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, civic engagement, and entrepreneurship, I have asked some version of the same questions. What is possible here? What is keeping people from getting there? What would it take to give them a fair chance to try?
My experience as an educator shapes how I develop people alongside my work in leadership, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, civic service and innovation. In the classroom, I learned to pay attention to how people learn and to look more closely when someone struggles. A person may need a clearer explanation, more time to practice, or a chance to show what they know in a different way. That habit of looking closer has stayed with me through every change in my work.
